Stairs to second floor
Proposal:
The application seeks full planning permission for the removal of the existing side extension and
erection of a side extension up to existing roof height and principal elevation. The proposed will
also erect a ground floor flat roof extension, extend the existing flat roof first floor extension and
erect a new roof top dormer. The porch would also be extended to meet the new side extension.
The proposed works would see the existing pebble dash changed to a white render, the timber
windows changed to UPVC, the timber front door would be changed to a composite door with
extended opening and the patio door replaced with a bi-fold. The extended roof gable would use
tiles salvaged from the demolition and the roof dormer would be clad in fibre cement resulting in a
grey charcoal colour. The bathroom window for the dormer, first floor rear extension and front of
house will use obscure glass. The existing cill height on the principal elevation living room window
will be lowered to change the outlook from the habitable room.
